  •  Converted to regular Kmart in early 2015

  1. I don't know that the Homewood store has officially been sold to walmart as of yet. The last I heard was that the village refuses to allow walmart to build a gas station (just as they did when kmart wanted to) and that is holding everything up.

  2. Homewood opened on January 18, 1994.
    Round Lake Beach opened on February 6, 1995.

  3. You can get a pretty interesting before and after conversion view of the former Super Kmart in Tinley Park on Google maps. You can go right into the parking lot.
